PARIS FAVOURITE BRUNCH SPOTS

Paris is my favourite city in the world. I have visited the city last week with my friends, we had such a relaxed weekend and the weather was so nice and sunny. Each one of us (foodies) had a food place in mind that we wanted to visit, so here’s a short list of our recent favourite places for breakfast/lunch, or in our case brunch (as we took our time to get ready in the mornings for those beautiful Parisian streets, because why not).

1. Buvette

This is such a tiny and cute café in the 9th arrondissement with lots of locals – we ordered the home-made granola, waffles, french toast and lots of herbal tea! The portions were quite big, so we decided to share our plates.

2. The Hoxton

The breakfast here is amazing, the atmosphere is good and the staff is very friendly. I loved the fluffy pancakes with home-made jam and the mango chia/coconut pudding, which tasted so fresh.

3. Amorino

Honestly, the best ice-cream I’ve had in Paris, which tastes as good as it looks. You can also choose to get a macaron on top of your ice-cream with an iced filling (sooo delicious!). I had the melon and stracciatella flavour and as you can see on the picture, they create a flower shape for you.

4. Café Charlot

A very typical and charming Parisian bistro in the Marais. Great to sit outside on the terrace and experience the city with locals.

5. Café Kitsuné

Great coffee, matcha and chai lattes to go. Friendly staff and good atmosphere.

6. Angelina / 7. Pierre Hermé

Very beautiful Parisian tea room inspired by the belle époque style. The pastries and ice-cream are delicious, and so are the croissants. I had my first croissant in Paris here and it was so delicious. Make sure to reserve on time if you decide to sit inside, otherwise you can just grab a croissant to go.

The macarons and the pastries at Pierre Hermé are fantastic, I even took some back home. The perfect place for a chic lunch with champagne or tea.

8. Kapunka

Fantastic thai food, great place for a quick bite with many vegan and gluten free options. The pad thai reminded me of the ones I had in Thailand, the best quality.
